Battalion: 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Dronfield, Derbyshire. Son of Samuel and Elizabeth Brusell, of 1, Snape Hill, Dronfield. Husband of Sarah Ann Brusell, of 10 Alexander Road, Dronfield, Derbyshire. He was an iron moulder prior to enlisting at Sheffield. He was killed in action, on 8th August 1916, in the attack on the German positions near Delville Wood, France, during the Battle of the Somme.
