Born at Crofton, Yorkshire and lived at Normanton, Yorkshire. Husband of Ada Bubb (formerly Brumby), of 86 Pontefract Road, Normanton. He enlisted at Pontefract, Yorkshire. He was killed in action, 11th July 1917, age 46, at Micmac Camp, Belgium.
