British War and Victory MedalBorn in Birmingham and lived at Bloxwich, Staffordshire. Son of James and Charlotte Brown, of 44, Station Street, Bloxwich. He was a lock and bolt grinder prior to enlisting 15th October 1917 at Walsall. He went to France 6th February 1918 and was killed in action, 4th November 1918, during the attack on the German line at Sebourg, France.
