British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalSon of James and Jane Elizabeth Brown, of Old Basford, Nottingham. He was a draper’s assistant prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France 28th June 1915 and was killed in action, 20th April 1916, aged 20, whilst serving in the line near Mont St. Eloi, France.
