Private Frederick Brown

Battalion: 1/6th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Brimington, Derbyshire. Son of Charles and Ellen Louisa of 99 Coronation Road, Brimington. He was a pipe moulder and an engine driver prior to enlisting 4th September 1911 at Brimington. He went to France on 28th February 1915 and was killed in action, 15th August 1915, whilst serving in the line near Sanctuary Wood, near Ypres, Belgium.
