Battalion: 2/8th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Rose Hill, Derby. Son of  George and Harriett Dewick (formerly Brooks), of Laxton,  Nottinghamshire. He was a farmworker prior to enlisting at Derby. He was killed in action, 26th September 1917, age 22, during the attack at St. Julian, near Ypres, Belgium.
