Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Marlpool, Derbyshire. Son of William and Hannah Brocklesby, of 23 Chapel Street, Marlpoool. He enlisted at Ilkeston and was killed in action, 27th May 1918, whilst the battalion was in a retiring fight to Montagne De Guyancourt, France.
