Born and lived at Derby. Son of Albert and Esther Annie Broadhurst, of 63, Belgrave Street, Derby. He was a clerk prior to enlisting 22nd March 1915 at Derby. He went to France on 12th March 1916 and was killed in action, 8th April 1916, aged 18. whilst in the line near Acq, France.
