Battalion: 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Elijah and Mary Broadhead, of 12, Great Freeman Street, Alfred Street, Nottingham. He was a railway carriage cleaner. He enlisted at Nottingham and was killed in action, 15th October 1916, age 27, in the attack near Le Transloy, France during the Battle of the Somme.
