British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Son of John and Charlotte Brisendon, of Royal Military College, Sandhurst. Formerly served with The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) and fought in the South African Campaign. He enlisted at Derby and went to France on 23rd February 1915. He was killed in action, 5th August 1915, aged 42, be shellfire at Hellfire Corner, near Ypres, Belgium, whilst the battalion was moving forward to positions at Maple Copse.
