Born at Derby. Brother of Mrs Martha Sims, of 57, Riddings Street, Derby. He enlisted at Derby and served in Gallipoli during 1915 and was killed in action, in the attack near Ovillers, France26th September 1916, age 28, during the Battle of the Somme.
