British 1914 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Son of Joseph and Elizabeth Brewster, of 4 Lion Square, Eldon Street, Newark. He was a maltster’s labourer prior to enlisting at Newark. He went to France 4th November 1914 and was killed in action, 9th May 1915, in the attack at Rouge Bancs, France.
