Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Frederick and Mary Ann Brewster, of 3, Bulwer Road, Radford, Nottingham. Husband of Catherine Brewster, of 10A, Ledger Yard, Ilkeston Road, Nottingham. He was a plumber’s labourer prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 22nd March 1918, aged 37, during the German offensive near Hermies, France.
