Born and lived at Wigston, Leicester. Son of John and Sarah Ann Brewin, of 14, Moat Street, Wigston, Leicester. He enlisted at Derby and went to France 11th November 1914 and was killed in action, 9th February 1917, age 28, during a raid on the German trenches near Mazingarbe, France.
