Born at Nottingham and lived at Nottingham. Son of John and Lydia Brewin, of 24, Portland Place, Grantham, Lincolnshire. Husband of Mary Ann Brewin of Alfred Street, Nottingham. He was a house painter and decorator prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France, 2nd February 1916 and he died of wounds on 30th January 1917, aged 32.
