Battalion: 11th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Charles and Eliza Brett, of 8 Bella Gate, Nottingham. He enlisted at Derby and was killed in action, 9th October 1918, in the attack near Le Cateau, France. 

Buried : Busigny Communal Cemetery Extension, France. Plot 3. Row C. Grave 23.
