British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalSon of James Christmas Brett and Susannah Elizabeth Brett, of 5, Betts Buildings, Waterloo Road, Catton, Norwich. He was a shoe finisher prior to enlisting on 14th February 1916 at Norwich. He went to France on 11th July 1916 and suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his legs on 6th June 1917. He was admitted to No. 7 General Hospital St. Omer, France, 8th June 1917 and died of wounds, 25th July 1917, aged 19.
