Born at Moira, Leicestershire. and lived at Woodville, Derbyshire. Son of William and Elizabeth Brealey, of 37 Court Street, Woodville. He was a farmer’s milk lad prior to enlisting 5th November 1915 at Derby. He went to France on 10th February 1917 and was killed in action, 1st July 1917, in the attack to the west of Lens, France.
