British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn and lived at Long Eaton, Derbyshire. Son of Thomas and Sarah Ann Brakewell, of 35 Regent Street, Long Eaton. He was a fitter prior to enlisting on 10th May 1915 at Derby. He went to France on 12th October 1915 and was killed in action, 20th April 1916, whilst serving in the trenches near Acq, France.
