Battalion: 1st Garrison Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Gayton-le Marsh, Lincolnshire. Son of Charles and Sabina Bratton, of Theddlethorpe, Lincolnshire. He enlisted at Alford, Lincolnshire. He went to Gallipoli on 7th November 1915 and died of wounds on 1st December 1915, at Suvla, Turkey.
