Born at Manchester. Son of Henry and Caroline Brandon, of 4, Metcalf Street, Leicester. Husband of Beatrice E. Ward (formerly Brandon), of 31, Granville Street, Loughborough, Leicestershire. He enlisted at Leicester and went to France on 18th March 1915 and killed in action, 26th September 1917, aged37, in the attack at St. Julian, near Ypres, Belgium.

His brother Private Henry George Brandon 2/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, also fell in the Great War
