Son of Charles and Jane  Brammer, of Woolpack Street, Retford,; Husband of Edith Brammer, of 16, St John Street, Retford.  He was a hedge cutter prior to enlisting at Retford He was killed in action when serving in the trenches near Zillebeke, Belgium, 17th October 1917, aged 37,
