Born and lived at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Son of Samuel and Jane Brailsford, of 5, The Rookery, Brampton, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He was a greengrocer’s errand boy prior to enlisting at Chesterfield. He died of wounds on 11th November 1917.
