Battalion: 9th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Higham, Derbyshire. Son of Francis and Maria Bradley, of 46, Higham, Derbyshire. He was a colliery labourer prior to enlisting at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He served in Gallipoli in 1915. Went to France and was killed in action, on 24th November 1916, aged 23, during a German artillery barrage, whilst on a working party to the north of Beaumont Hamel, France, during the Battle of the Somme.
