British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn and lived at Newark, Nottinghamshire. Son of Fred and Sarah Bradley, of Blyton’s Yard, Newark. Husband of Annie Bradley, of 5, Smith’s Row, Newark. He was a brewer’s labourer prior to enlisting at Newark. He served in Dublin during the Irish Rebellion of 1916 with the 2/8th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment. He was transferred to the 9th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment and wounded 26th September 1917 and was killed in action, 4th November 1918, in the attack at Sebourg, France.
