Son of Jonathan and Annie Bradley, of 5, Lincoln Street, Alfreton; Husband of Lucy Mabel Bradley, of 7, Lincoln Street, Alfreton. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting on 15th October 1914 at Ripley, Derbyshire. He was appointed Lance Corporal, 7th November 1914 and promoted Corporal on 31st December 1914. He went to France on 1st March 1915 and was killed in action, 14th October 1915, aged 26, in the attack at the Hohenzollern Redoubt, France.
