Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Bradley, of 6, Campbell Grove, Robin Hood Street, Nottingham. He was a general labourer prior to enlisting on 17th June 1908 at Nottingham. He went to France on 8th September 1914 and died of wounds, on 13th October 1914, aged 24, at a No 2 Western General Hospital, Manchester.
