Born and lived at Monyash, Bakewell, Derbyshire. Son of William and Eliza Ann Bradbury, of Monyash, He enlisted at Buxton, Derbyshire and was killed in action, 15th October 1916, age 31 in the attack near Le Transloy France, during the Battle of the Somme.

Commemorated : Thiepval Memorial, France. Pier and Face 10 C 10 D and 11 A.
