Born and lived at Derby. Son of William and Susan Bradbury, of 5, Dashwood Street, Derby; Husband of Alice Frost (formerly Bradbury), of 3, Spencer Street, Alvaston, Derby. He enlisted at Derby and went to  France 22nd June 1915 and died, 17th November 1915, aged 30,  onboard Hospital Ship Anglia about 1 mile east of Folkestone Gate, after hitting a mine that had been laid by the German U-Boat UC-5
