Son of Police Sergeant Fred and Catherine Matilda Bradbury, of 42, New Street, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. He was a joiner and carpenter prior to enlisting at Worksop. He went to France 11th October 1915 and was killed in action, 28th June 1916, aged 23, whilst in the trenches, near Authuille Wood, France.
