Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of John William and Mary Bradbury, of 22, Curzon Street, Nottingham. He was a blind fitter prior to enlisting 12th June 1915 at Nottingham. He was appointed Lance Corporal 17th August 1915 and promoted Corporal, 7th February 1916. He went to France 6th March 1916 and was killed in action, 12th July 1916, aged 24, whilst in the line near Givenchy, France.
