Corporal Edward Bradbury

Battalion: 9th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of Edward and Emma Bradbury, of 11, Oliver Street, Nottingham. He was a labourer prior to enlisting 26th August 1914 at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He was appointed Lance Corporal, 25th September 1914, went Gallipoli 1st July 1915 and was promoted Corporal 16th July 1915. Killed in action, 9th August 1915, in the attack at Ismail Oglu Tepe, (Chocolate Hill), Gallopli, Turkey.
