Lance Corporal Edwin Thomas Brackpool

Battalion: 11th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Copthroen, Sussex and lived at Crawley Down, Sussex. Son of Thomas and Ellen Annie Brackpool, of 1, Oak Cottage, Crawley Down. He was a butcher’s assistant prior to enlisting at Horsham. He was killed in action, 5th October 1918, aged 24, in the attack on Guizancourt, France.
