Born at Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and lived at Stamford, Licolnshire. Son of George and Martha Boyer, off 1 Cavendis Street, Peterborough. Husband of Sarah Boyer, of 4, Raynors Court, Water Street, Stamford. He was a painter in a iron foundry prior to enlisting at Stamford. He was killed in action, 13th November 1916, in the attack on the Schwaben Redoubt, Near Thiepval, France during the Battle of the Somme.
