Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of John and Susan Boyd, 7, Selborne Street, Pym Street, Nottingham. He was a printer’s labourer prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He died of illness, 22nd March 1917, aged 27,  at 5th Northern General Hospital, Leicester. 

Buried : Nottingham General Cemetery, United Kingdom. Grave 944.
