British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn and lived at Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. Son of John and Elizabeth Bower, of Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. He enlisted at Derby and went to France 14th July 1915 and died, 9th November 1917, age 27,  from abdominal injuries sustained in a collision with a lorry at 47, Casualty Clearing Station, Lozinghem, Belgium.
