Private Sydney George Bowden

Army Number: 94073 (formerly 2877  H. F. Company Royal Engineers)

Battalion: 12th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Eastbourne, Sussex. Son of John and Anne Harris Bowden, of 39, Green Street, Eastbourne. He was an apprentice Printer prior to enlisting at Eastbourne. He was killed in action, 22nd March 1918, age 21 whilst in the line at Villercholles, France.
