Born at Longton, Staffordshire; Son of John and Mary Bould, of 10 Lord Street, Sandford Hill, Longton, Staffordshire. Husband of Ethel Bould.  He was a pottery oven youth prior to enlisting at Longton He went to France 30th December 1915 and died of wounds, 18th November 1916, at No. 11 General Hospital, Camieres, France.

Buried : Etaples Military Cemetery, France. Plot 20. Row A. Grave 1A.
