Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Draycott, Derbyshire. Son of Edwin and Mary Elizabeth Bosworth, of Walk Close, Draycott. Husband of Mattie Bosworth, of Long Eaton, Derbyshire. He was a lacemaker prior to enlisting at Long Eaton. He was killed in action, 4th March 1917, in the attack at Andover, France.
