Born and lived at Beeston Hill, Leeds. Son of William and Mary Ann Booth, of 5, Coupland Place, Beeston Hill, Leeds. he enlisted at Leeds and was killed in action, 19th September 1918, age 19, in the attack on the Quadrilateral, near Holnon, France.
