Born at Carrington, Nottingham and lived at 449 Alfreton Road, Bobbers Mill, Nottingham. Son of William and Emma Booth, of Nottingham. He was curtain shredder and was transferred to the Labour Corps as Private 16726. Died of dysentery 23rd August 1917, aged 22.
