Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of William and Fanny Booth, of 3 Platt Street, Nottingham. Husband of Annie Booth. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting 12th November 1913 at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 2nd August 1915, whilst serving in the trenches at Potijze, Belgium.
