Sergeant William Booth

Battalion : 1/6th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Wormhill, Derbyshire. Son of Thomas Henry and Mary Booth, of Upper End, Peak Dale, Derbyshire. he enlisted at Peak Dale and was killed in action, 3rd June 1917, aged 26, whilst serving in the trenches near Lievin, France.
Buried : Fosse No.10 Communal Cemetery Extension, Sains-En-Gohelle, France. Plot 1. Row D. Grave 45.
