Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of Florence Booth, of 23, Muskham Street, The Meadows, Nottingham. He was a Surveyors Clerk prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 10th October 1917, whilst the Battalion was moving towards the support lines near Hazebrouck, Belgium.
