Born and lived at Cheadle, Staffordshire. Son of Joseph and Elizabeth Booth, of 56, Black Lane, Cheadle. He enlisted at Nottingham and was killed in action, 3rd February 1916, aged 35, whilst serving in the trenches near Rue de Quesnoy, France.
Buried : Y Farm Military Cemetery, Bois-Grenier, France. Row G, Grave 36.
