Born and lived at Derby. Son of William and Ellen Boon, of 29 Belgrave Street, Derby. He was a shop assistant prior to enlisting t Derby. He was killed in action, 24th October 1917, whilst serving in the line near the Menin Road, near Ypres, Belgium.
