British War and Victory MedalBorn at Bottesford, Leicestershire and lived at Bulwell, Nottingham. Son of Alfred and Frances Mary Bonner, of Station House, Bulwell Forest, Nottingham. Husband of Beatrice Anne Bonner, of 78 Highbury Avenue, Bulwell. He was a golf club maker and professional at Bulwell Forest Golf Club prior to enlisting 8th December 1915 at Nottingham. He went to  France 16th August 1916 and was killed in action, 25th June 1917,  by German shell fire at Sherwood Camp, Ouderdom, near Ypres Belgium.
