Born and lived at Leicester. Son of Frederick and Mary Jane Bond, of 24, Olphin Street, Leicester. He was a shoe heel crusher prior to enlisting at Leicester. He died, 13th May 1917, as a prisoner of war.

Buried : Cologne Southern Cemetery, Germany. Plot 5. Row E. Grave 11.
