Private Reginald John Bolton

Battalion: 12th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born in Dublin, Ireland. Son of John and Annie Isabella Bolton, of The “School” House, Great Wymondley, Stevenage, Hertfordshire. He was an apprentice pattern maker in an iron and steel works prior to enlisting at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He was killed in action, 14th August 1917, aged 18,  by German shellfire, whilst being employed on railway maintenance near Ypres, Belgium.
