Son of Charles and Hannah Bolton, of 15, Westgate Street, Oakham, Rutland. He was a tailor prior to enlisting on 4th December 1915 at Oakham. He was killed in action, 21st March 1918, whilst holding the line near Noreuil, France on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive or (Kaiserschlact)
